ClearChoice by Remodel Health
The team, technology, structure, and expertise behind a successful benefits transformation.
Delivering an individualized benefits program through an individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement (ICHRA) that employees can trust and leadership can stand behind requires more than the right technology. It requires the right team, structure, and expertise to ensure nothing falls through the cracks when it matters most.
ClearChoice by Remodel Health is the premier benefits transformation model built into every ICHRA program, featuring a licensed team that guides organizations and their employees through the full benefits cycle, not just the transition.
ClearChoice by Remodel Health operates as an active partner at every stage:
Guiding benefits change with a proven end-to-end process
Advising employees through plan selection and enrollment
Advocating for employees in complex medical situations
Surfacing compliance obligations and driving long-term strategy
Keeping coverage active with a team behind every payment
For years, our commitment to faithfully serving our customers and members lived in the background: the calls picked up, the problems solved, and the follow-through everyone felt. ClearChoice builds upon our renown white-glove service approach with an improved structure and a standard we hold ourselves to at every stage.
Why expert service matters
Moving from group coverage to an individualized benefits model solves a real cost problem. But without the right partner, it can introduce a different kind of risk: the moments that don’t show up in a plan comparison.
What if employees can’t reach a person when it matters?
If employees can only access a chatbot where a specialist should be, questions can go unresolved.
What happens when a transition runs without structure?
Plan changes, vendor switches, and mid-year moves happen without a defined process behind them.
What happens when high-stakes guidance gets outsourced or skipped?
Medicare decisions, life events, and coverage disputes carry real financial consequences, and employees are often left to navigate them alone.
These are the moments when a benefits program is actually judged, and where many ICHRA partners hand off to software. When problems arise, you need an ICHRA partner who can work alongside you.
We’ve already transitioned thousands of members from other ICHRA administrators to Remodel Health, a sign of how often professed support and reality turn out to be different things.
Built around a single, accountable model
ClearChoice by Remodel Health operates as an active partner at every stage of the benefits cycle.
Structured transition management
Navigate benefits change with a proven, end-to-end process.
Transitioning to an individualized benefits model isn't a traditional software rollout. ClearChoice by Remodel Health runs parallel admin and member journeys from the first strategy session through the first payrolls and beyond, with clear follow-through at every stage.
High-stakes member advocacy
Put a licensed advisor in your employees’ corner when it matters most.
From plan selection and Medicare navigation to prior authorization battles and qualifying life events (QLEs), employees face moments too important to navigate alone. Those with complex medical situations have access to a licensed advisor who can educate them and provide real expertise. Members also have access to experts who can advocate on their behalf, not a chatbot.
- 100% of support staff are licensed health insurance producers
- 96% advisor satisfaction rating
Year-round strategic support
Rely on a partner who supports compliance and drives long-term strategy.
Dedicated account managers stay engaged across the full benefits lifecycle, partnering with employers and their brokers. They surface compliance obligations proactively and run regular strategy reviews and renewal guidance to keep the program performing year after year.
- 95% annual customer retention
Seamless payment operations
Keep coverage active with a team behind every payment.
Many administrators hand payment risk to employees through debit cards and reimbursements. Remodel Health pays carriers directly on behalf of employees, backed by an operations team. When exceptions come up, a person catches them before they become the employer’s problem.
- 99%+ AutoPay payment accuracy

For HR leaders
ClearChoice gives HR a team that works alongside them, not a project to manage alone. Licensed advisors take on employee questions and advocate in high-stakes moments, so HR is never left holding a problem they weren't equipped to solve.

ClearChoice by Remodel Health FAQs
What is an ICHRA?
The individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement (ICHRA) is a flexible, employer-funded health benefit that allows businesses to provide employees with a tax-free contribution toward individual health insurance premiums. With an ICHRA, employees can purchase an individual health plan that best fits their needs.
Does ClearChoice cost extra?
No. ClearChoice is included with our flagship ICHRA product. Additional features, such as on-site enrollment support, are available to enterprise groups with 250+ lives at no additional cost.
What happens during renewal?
A dedicated account manager runs a strategy review, financial analysis, and renewal guidance each year. We actively manage your ICHRA benefits program.
How is this different from a software-only ICHRA platform?
Software manages plan configuration and enrollment logistics. ClearChoice adds a licensed, experienced team that handles the moments software can’t. This includes transitions, high-stakes member situations, compliance, and payment operations. ClearChoice by Remodel Health provides an active partner, not a chatbot.
How does ClearChoice by Remodel Health support us during Open Enrollment?
During Open Enrollment, Remodel Health members can enroll in health insurance coverage for the new year. Our ICHRA platform recommends plans that are comparable to your organization's group plan design (in terms of deductible and out-of-pocket maximum). It also allows members to browse and compare all plans and filter their search by any prescriptions or physicians.
However, for those with more complex medical situations, our licensed Benefits Advisors are ready to help them understand their options and enroll in a plan. Once employees select a plan, our team enrolls members and handles the heavy lifting.
What if an employee’s healthcare needs change during the year? Can ClearChoice by Remodel Health help them change their plan?
If an employee’s healthcare needs change, Remodel Health is here to assist. You can typically change your plan only during the annual Open Enrollment period, unless you have a qualifying life event. If an employee has a QLE and they want to change their plan, our team can guide them through their options.
What happens if an employee has a claim denied or a prior authorization issue with their insurance company?
If a member has issues with a claim denial or obtaining prior authorization, our Customer Success Representatives are happy to step in, review their situation, and provide guidance on how to navigate the issue. The member isn’t left to navigate this alone.
Can employees contact Remodel Health directly, or does everything route through HR first?
Employees can contact us directly to get assistance with various needs. We’ll also provide resources and education so that HR is prepared to help.
Here’s a sample of what employees can contact us for:
Help with using their ICHRA benefits:
- Help them understand their benefit and what they’re eligible for
- Questions about provider networks or finding in-network doctors
- Assistance with any issues using the ICHRA
- Troubleshooting issues with premium payments or payment processing
Advocacy and education:
- Education on what to do when facing a problem with their insurance company
- Guidance on speaking with their doctor or insurance company
- Review of their Summary of Benefits and Coverage (what the plan covers) and understanding next steps
- Advocate for them with their provider or carrier for necessary authorizations
Health plan enrollment and changes:
- Help during Open Enrollment or a special enrollment period
- Updating household information or demographics
- Making plan changes, including adding or dropping dependents and changing their address
Whether it’s understanding formulary tiers, addressing coverage delays, or preparing for an Open Enrollment decision, our team is here to help.
