Will switching vendors interrupt employees' health coverage?

No. Employees keep their individual health insurance policies if you choose to switch administrators. Remodel Health carefully manages the transition process to ensure there aren’t any interruptions. 

How long does it take to transition to Remodel Health?

The timeline depends on your organization's size and current setup. However, our implementation team coordinates onboarding, employee data transfers, and staff communication to ensure the process is organized, efficient, and timely. 

Can my employees get help choosing their health plans?

Yes. Employees have access to licensed benefits advisors who provide one-on-one assistance when comparing and enrolling in individual health insurance plans. This level of guidance helps employees feel secure that they’ve chosen the right coverage and improves overall satisfaction.

Employees can also compare plans on their own through the ICHRA+ platform. Our platform recommends up to three plans, and employees can browse all available options.

Keep in mind that switching ICHRA vendors midyear doesn’t create a special enrollment period (SEP) for employees to enroll in coverage. They’ll have the opportunity to shop for coverage at the end of the plan year.
